I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel's value for money. It exceeded my expectations, offering even better amenities than pricier hotels I've stayed in before. The rooms were basic, but they had everything I needed for a comfortable stay, including a single bed with an extra set of pillows. The staff were friendly and attentive, making sure I had a hearty cooked breakfast each morning. The breakfast included in the price was a great bonus, and I particularly enjoyed the view of the local greyhound racetrack from the breakfast room.
Everything was alright, no complaints.

The staff were pleasant friendly & kind. My family were staying as we were attending a family funeral & the staff made our visit a little easier. I would like to say a big thank you to them all. If we were there for any other reason I would have enjoyed a night at the dogs. I definately will recommened this hotel & I hope that I will return there for happier occasions.
The towels could be updated some of them have seen better days

The hotel may look a bit old-fashioned, but it was clean and tidy. The staff were really helpful and provided all the facilities we needed, like an iron and ironing board. They even thought ahead and provided enough milk pots for a couple, which is rare in my experience. The atmosphere in the hotel was welcoming and friendly, and the manageress on duty was especially great. The room itself was tidy, the bed was comfortable, and the facilities were spot on.
It would be great if the hotel could be updated a little, especially the bathrooms. , the location wasn't very close to the city center, so getting there took longer than expected.

Clean and fit for purpose for our stay. Excellent view from our room of the greyhound track. Enjoyed the Friday night racing!
No evening restuarant service. We settled for food in the local pub.

I recently stayed at a hotel in Birmingham and was pleasantly surprised by the value for money. The prices were incredibly reasonable, especially considering the attention to detail and the basic amenities provided. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the rooms were exactly like in the pictures. I particularly enjoyed the breakfast, which was included in the price, and the option of having a single bed extra in the room.
All in all, I had a great stay and there was nothing that could be improved.

A great value for money hotel with very friendly staff, a good breakfast and the added bonus of being next to a dog track. Comfortable, spacious room and a pint of Carling at £1.80 a pint! A great place to stay with a bit of a twist with the dog track which is free entrance when you stay at the hotel. Highly recommended.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel in Birmingham. The staff were very polite and helpful, and the breakfast provided was delicious and filling. The hotel is conveniently located close to shops and restaurants in the area. Additionally, the hotel offers ample parking and is easily accessible from the train station for the city centre and Birmingham airport.
No negatives.

I recently stayed at this hotel and had a fantastic experience. the location next to the greyhound racetrack was a unique and enjoyable feature. Watching the races in the evening was a highlight of my stay. Secondly, the staff were friendly and accommodating, going out of their way to ensure our vegetarian dietary needs were met at breakfast. Lastly, the rooms were spacious and comfortable, exactly as depicted in the pictures. The added bonus of breakfast included and an additional single bed made it excellent value for money.
All was great, no complaints.

We went on a business trip to the nec, we found the hotel very close to the nec and town. Staff were very kind. The breakfast was very good too the next morning. I would stay there again with out fail. Dog racing goes on at the back off the hotel, we didn't go to it but heard it is fun. They have some smoking rooms which is handy for smokers. They introduced us to a local taxi service which saved us half the price on black cabs. I will be back there again next year and I will also tell other people in Ireland that are going to the likes of the nec to stay at that hotel.

Greyhound races! You could actually watch them from the window of your room. Room was clean, staff was very friendly and helpful. Popular pub a couple of blocks down the street with good food. Very reasonable rates about 20 minutes from Birmingham Airport.
